- Soroptimist International of Edmonton and our partners will continue to collect
signatures for our petition to change the Criminal Code to improve the lot of
trafficked persons until June 30, 2010. For further information please contact

- The Soroptimist International of Americas biennium convention will be in San
Francisco in July . The focus of the convention will be human trafficking and
the keynote speaker will be Canadian investigative journalist and author, Victor
Malarek. He is the author of The
Natashas and The Johns,
both offer an in depth look at human trafficking from both the victim and the

- February 7th - White Glove Lunch - history work bee at the home of the
chairperson, Jaynne.
- March 7th – International Women’s Day
Brunch at Highlands Golf Club. Program will include an address or presentation
on Status of Women and the presentation of signature club awards:
